Thursday, the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate said that the employees of the cybercrime unit continue to investigate information received about unidentified persons forging electronic permits used after curfew hours. 

The media spokesman confirmed that a number of those permits were seized through the technical tracking of the forged permits. Through investigations, the PSD found that the forgers were found to be outside the Kingdom.

The media spokesman added that one of those involved had been arrested, and that permits are now being counted to understand the scale of the fraud. 

The media spokesman confirmed that the official permits issued by the authorized authorities are free of charge, and that anyone who requests money for them is a fraud, warning everyone against dealing with such people, or trying to obtain fraudulent permits.
