The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply shut down a bakery in Amman that was selling bread at a price higher than that set by the government, which is JD 0.35 per kilogram.

In a statement, the ministry said it strengthened monitoring campaigns in bakeries and shops to ensure the availability of goods at fair prices, in light of the high demand due to the snowstorm affecting the Kingdom.

The statement explained that these campaigns aim to ensure compliance with defense orders and precautionary measures. Citizens are asked to submit their comments and complaints regarding violations by calling 06/561176.
