A total of 134,607 young men and women from ages 17 to 30 participated in voting processes in Jordan's 19th Parliamentary Elections, according to the Independent Election Commission (IEC) Tuesday.

Additionally, the IEC said the record for youth participation in the election process has been broken this year for the first in Jordan.

Voting centers have been abiding by health and safety measures. Voting has not stopped in any polling stations in the Kingdom, said the media spokesperson for the IEC Jihad Momani.
