Director General of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Nizar Mhaidat, has said today that any facility where an employee is confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 or has had contact with an infected person will be closed for a period of 14 days.

In a statement, Mhaidat FDA pointed out that the facility must be duly sterilized under the supervision of the Royal Engineering Corps and the Civil Defense Department.

These facilities are also required to provide the National Epidemiological Committee with a list of employees who have had contact with infected persons.
