Head of COVID-19 Crisis Management Group Operations, Brigadier Mazen Farayah has announced this evening that the Al-Marqab area in Marka, Amman, will be placed on complete lockdown to enable the epidemiological investigation teams and sterilization teams to do their work.

He pointed out that 291 people were discharged today from the Regency Palace Amman, noting that one of them was found to have been infected with coronavirus, where he was transferred to quarantine.

"The sterilization teams are continuing to carry out sterilization campaigns," Farayah said, praising the tremendous efforts that are being made in light of the great risks.

He stressed that all those involved in forged curfew-exemption permits were investigated and legal actions were taken against them.
