Health Minister: 22 new coronavirus cases recorded in Jordan today, total cases rise to 345

The total number of coronavirus cases in Jordan has reached 345, as 22 new cases were confirmed today, the Minister of Health, Saad Jaber, has announced.

The new cases are one person who had direct contact with an infected Lebanese national, two Iraqi siblings who contracted the virus from their infected father, one person who contracted the virus from an infected father, seven people in the northern Hashmi (Hashmi Al Shamali) building in Amman, a mother who contracted the virus from her infected son at Prince Hamzah Hospital, seven people who contracted the virus from an infected father, one person who had direct contact with an infected woman in Irbid, one who had contact with two infected employees at a company, one person at a private hospital in Amman and one who had direct contact with her sister in law, the Minister said during a press briefing at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management.

"36 recovery cases were reported today, 29 of which at King Hussein University Hospital and seven at Prince Hamzah Hospital," Jaber confirmed.
