Minister of Health Saad Jaber has denied reports that the Ministry has 333 rapid response teams that offer at-home COVID-19 testing.

The Minister confirmed that the Ministry is well-equipped to test any suspected case at the designated facilities.

He said such reports, mainly disseminated on social media platforms, are unfounded, urging the public to seek information from official and authorized sources.

He stressed that the Ministry is expanding COVID-19 testing after it received on Tuesday an additional 21,000 testing kits.

Citizens can call the "Ask about Coronavirus" hotline at 111 for observations and questions regarding the disease, its symptoms and prevention methods, the Minister pointed out.
