Spokesman for the national committee for epidemics Nathir Obaidat has said that a number of COVID-19 patients are expected to be discharged from hospital tomorrow after they tested negative and are no longer showing symptoms of the virus.

"A second laboratory test shall be conducted to ensure that they have fully recovered," Obaidat said, confirming that all the patients are in good health condition.

Obaidat said that the epidemiological tracking and investigation teams in Irbid work day and night in order to examine all those who had attended the wedding since a large number of people got infected after they attended the wedding.

He confirmed that the medical teams check on the citizens who attended the wedding while they are in their homes every four days.
