The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) has published a list of entities and persons who will be authorized to move from and to Amman and all the Kingdom's governorates. 

The list includes the following:

First: The industrial and commercial sectors:

1- Food supply chains including mills, bakeries, poultry, meat, dairy, foodstuff, vegetable, fruit and water stores.

2- Companies that distribute and transport foodstuff, vegetables and fruits.

3- Companies that manufacture human and veterinary drugs, pesticides, medical supplies and drug stores.

4- Companies that manufacture healthy toilet paper.

5- Companies that manufacture detergents and sterilizers.

6- Packaging, plastic and aluminum needed for foodstuffs, agricultural, pharmaceutical and detergents sectors.

Second: The water sector:

1- Water companies (Yarmouk, Miyahuna, Aqaba).

2- ‎Samra Waste Water Treatment Plant in Zarqa.

3- Disi Water Conveyance project.

4- Wadi Araba project.

Third: The energy sector:

1- All electric power generation and distribution companies, with the minimum number of employees t maintain the work.

2- Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company, oil gas filling centers, oil derivative marketing companies and fuel stations.

3- Jordanian-Egyptian Fajr Company.

4-Technical Company for Gas Pipeline Operation Services.

5- National Gas Industries Company.

6- Vehicles that transport public oil and oil derivatives and retail gas selling centers of all kinds.

Fourth: The agricultural sector:

1- Institutions that import, export and sell agricultural materials and production requirements for flora and fauna, with the minimum number of empliyees to sustain work.

2- Filling, taging and storage stations.

3- Merchants and traders of agricultural products in the central markets and retail stores that sell animal and plant products.

4- Owners of farms and agricultural workers within the production and work areas.

5- Vehicles loaded with agricultural and animal products and their production requirements.

6- Veterinary clinics and pharmacies.

Fifth: The Logistics Services Sector.

1- Logistics services companies, including navigation, air transport agents and clearance, commercial freight, distribution, loading and unloading, transportation management and regulation companies, with th minimum number of employees to sustain work.

2- Security and Protection.

Sixth: The communications and information technology sector:

1- Telecommunications companies, with the minimum number of employees to sustain work.

2- Call Center employees to ensure that services are still being provided to citizens.
However, at least 50% of them should be working from home by the end of Thursday, March 18, while 100% of them should be working from home by the end of March 22.

3- Companies working to equip the distance learning platform (Edraak, Mawdoo3, Abwaab and Jo Academy.

4 - Other employees working for the communications and information technology companies (not mentioned above) should work from home and according to the decisions made by their managers.

Seventh: The Media Sector:

Private media, including newspapers, registered news websites, TV stations, radio channels, representative offices of foreign media operating in Jordan, and media services offices. The staff of these entities can work and move at a minimum.

Eighth: The Judicial Council:

Judges and prosecutors holding identification cards issued by the Judicial Council.

Ninth: The Banking Sector:

Exclusively and to the minimum necessary to sustain the work.

Tenth: The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) employees:

GAM staff and vehicles to sustain work.

These moves come in implementation of the cabinet resolution issued on March 17, which includes taking a number of precautionary and preventive measures to limit the spread of the new coronavirus.
