Amman Mayor Yousef Shawarbeh has decided to close all wedding halls, snooker and pool clubs, and gaming lounges (PlayStation and video games centers) as a precautionary measure to fight coronavirus.

In an official statement, Shawarbeh confirmed that the necessary legal action will be taken against any violating party.

This decision follows another one issued by the government, which indicates suspending the supply and services of shishas and hookas at cafes and restaurants.
