The Emirati Embassy in Amman has called on its nationals who are currently in Jordan to leave the country before next Tuesday.

The Embassy tweeted, "The Emirati Embassy in Amman calls on citizens of the UAE who are in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, to head to travel agencies and confirm their reservations to leave Jordan, before Tuesday, March 17, 2020, because of the suspension of flights and closure of all border crossings in Jordan, until further notice."

Earlier yesterday, the Jordanian government decided to suspend all flights to and from Jordan until further notice, excluding commercial freight, as part of a series of measures to fight coronavirus.
