Education Ministry: Suspending school classes doesn't include teachers

The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Education for Educational Affairs, Dr. Nawwaf Al-Ajarmah, affirmed today that the cabinet’s decision to shut down schools does not include teachers.

He indicated that the education directors will organize the work hours for teachers and administrators according to instructions to be issued tomorrow by the Ministry of Education in accordance with the instructions of the Civil Service Bureau.

Earlier today, Ajarmah said that the Ministry will announce this week the "televised lessons" program for all grades.

He added that the Ministry will activate the distance learning platform, starting next Sunday, March 22.
