Kuwait announced on Saturday, March 7, that it is halting flights to and from seven countries for one week as a precaution for the novel coronavirus outbreak.

It said that the ban includes all arrivals from Syria, Lebanon, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and India in addition to Egypt, even those with residency permits.

However, Kuwaitis coming from these countries will be put under quarantine.
