Prime Minister, Omar Razzaz, directed the Minister of Health, Saad Jaber, to set up a 24/7 hotline as soon as possible to receive citizens' inquiries about the emerging coronavirus.

Razzaz stressed the need to improve the Ministry of Health hotline service, in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, so that it allocates a number that is easy to remember and dial, and is technically capable of accommodating simultaneous calls.

The Premier underscored that the answers and instructions of those in charge of the hotline ought to be clear, unified, and accurately reflective of the preventive and remedial measures provided by the Health Ministry.

Razzaz’s instructions came after he called the hotline to check on the readiness and performance level of those in charge of receiving calls.
