Director of the Petra brigade, Mansour Al-Alawin, in coordination with the Governor of Ma'an, decided to announce today as a day off for all public institutions and departments in Petra due to the severe weather.

The decision excluded emergency departments and other departments, whose work requires otherwise.

Several areas in Petra are witnessing heavy snowfall, as the Kingdom is getting affected by unstable weather conditions.
