Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Than has issued directives to provide 10,000 job opportunities in Qatar for Jordanian citizens, in addition to the 10,000 job opportunities that were announced in August 2018.

Sheikh Tamim has also announced that the Jordanian military retirement fund will be supported with $30 million.

Sheikh Tamim arrived in Jordan yesterday in an official visit.

His Majesty King Abdullah held talks with Qatar Emir at Al Husseiniya Palace, covering the strong ties between the two countries and means to advance cooperation, in addition to the latest regional developments.

King Abdullah and Sheikh Tamim reaffirmed the deep-rooted, brotherly ties between the two countries, and keenness to bolster them across all sectors, especially economic and investment-related fields.
