The Ministry of Health announced today that all people coming from Palestine will undergo medical examinations to ensure no one has coronavirus.

The Ministry confirmed that it will provide special medical equipment to conduct the examinations.

The Assistant Secretary-General of the Ministry, Dr. Adnan Ishaq said that the Ministry and the concerned bodies will implement intensive preventive measures on all border crossings, especially the Jaber Border Crossing.

The Palestinian Authority has not yet contacted the Health Ministry in Jordan to follow up on this matter, he pointed out.

Ishaq confirmed that since the moment the first coronavirus case was registered in Tel Aviv, authorities began to intensify control on all border crossings.
