Students and members of the Deanship of Student Affairs at the Hashemite University organized a protest this morning, rejecting the "Deal of the Century," and adhering to the official Jordanian position that refused the terms of the Deal.

Protestors confirmed their refusal to the Deal that violates the rights of the Palestinian people, affirming their adherence to His Majesty King Abdullah II's position in rejecting the terms of the agreement.

The Acting President of the University, Dr. Kayed Abu Safiyyah said that the protest is held to show Jordan's firm stance on the Palestinians cause and its support to the Palestinian people.

He stressed that Jordan rejects resettlement and an alternative homeland.
