Al Saed also stressed that citizens shouldn't be concerned about the products imported from China.

She defined coronavirus as a virus that infects the respiratory system, confirming that people who suffer from the virus have flu-like symptoms.

Al Saeh added that the virus can cause pneumonia and kidney failure.

She pointed out that all medical measures were taken, adding that all medical personnel are ready to deal with any suspected coronavirus case in the Kingdom.

The Ministry of Health has taken all precautionary measures, which included placing thermal scanners at airports and border crossings to detect the virus and check the health conditions of people arriving from East Asian countries, she noted.

Al Saeh called on citizens traveling abroad to be exercise caution, adhere to the preventive measures, avoid close contact with people who are sick and avoid direct unprotected contact with live animals in the countries people are heading to.
