Snow has covered Al Rashadiyyah area of Tafilah, south of Jordan today, as a cold air mass is hitting the Kingdom.

The Kingdom will remain under the impact of the weather depression in the next few hours, according to the latest weather updates published by Arabia Weather.

The northern and central parts of the Kingdom will witness rainfall that may be heavy at times and accompanied by thunderstorms and hail showers.

Areas in the south of Jordan are expected to witness heavy rainfall with hail showers, while the southern high mountains, especially the Sharah mountains, may witness snowfall with accumulation.

The high areas that exceed 1000 meters above sea level in the north and center of the Kingdom may witness light snow.

The impact of the weather depression will taper off by this evening. However, a slight chance of rain showers is expected in some parts of the Kingdom, with frost forming after midnight.
