Around nine tourists were rescued after their vehicle was trapped in snow in Tafilah governorate, south of Jordan on Tuesday, January 21.

The tourists were heading to Petra. However, they were stranded on Al-Qadisiyah road in Tafilah due to heavy snow accumulation.

Police officers and cadres of the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) have transferred the tourists to an area in Dana village until the weather was stable.
