A 28-year-old Palestinian man has died after being fatally stabbed during a fight between members of two families in the Qalqilya city in the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian police spokesman, Luai Irzaiqat.

“The man was stabbed in a fight that occurred in the eastern region of Qalqilya," the spokesman explained, adding that the victim was transferred to a nearby hospital where the doctors announced him dead.

Irzaiqat added, “Police and security forces have rushed to the scene of the incident and arrested 12 persons involved in the fight, in addition to the main suspect, who admitted to stabbing the victim."

Police has seized the crime tool while the public prosecution launched an investigation into the incident.
