King departs for Oman to pay condolences over passing of Sultan Qaboos

His Majesty King Abdullah II, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, on Sunday, departed for Oman to pay condolences to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq bin Taimour Al Said of Oman, over the passing of Sultan Qaboos bin Said, may his soul rest in peace.

His Majesty's high-level delegation includes His Highness Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, His Highness Prince Hamzah Bin Al Hussein, His Highness Prince Hashem Bin Al Hussein, His Majesty’s Chief Royal Councillor, His Highness Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad, Senior His Majesty’s chief adviser for religious and cultural affairs and personal envoy, and His Highness Prince Abdullah bin Ghazi , Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Adviser to His Majesty for Communication and Coordination, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the Jordanian Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman.

His Highness Prince Raad Bin Zaid was sworn in as Regent, in the presence of the cabinet members.
