The heavy rainfall that the Kingdom has witnessed since last night, caused some streets in the Kafaranjah city of Ajloun governorate to collapse, which resulted in road closures.

The governor of Ajloun and the head of the emergency committee, Salman Al-Najada said citizens reported that a vital road in Kafaranjah and other sub roads, linking the city with the towns of Al-Wahadna, Al-Hashimiyah, Halawa and Deir Al-Smadiya have collapsed.

He pointed out that the Ministry of Public Works and Housing and the Municipality of Kafaranja were contacted in order to remove the damages of the landslides from the road for the safety and pedestrians and drives.

He indicated that if the concerned bodies didn't take rapid measures, the streets were the collapse occurred will be partially or totally closed for the citizens' safety.
