An expatriate worker has died today after falling inside a smoked furnace machine in a factory in Mafraq governorate, according to a statement made by the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) today.

The statement explained that the worker died immediately as he suffered from severe burns.

Security services, along with the public prosecutor rushed to the site of the incident to find out how the incident occured.

An investigation into the incident was launched.
