In a statement issued today, the Ministry of Health announced the total deaths in H1N1 "Swine Flu" in Jordan has reached seven, while the number of infected people has risen to 276.

The Assistant Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Adnan Ishaq told Roya that a woman in her forties has died at a private hospital in Amman today, adding that she already suffers from cancer.

In official statements he made earlier, Minister of Health, Dr. Saad Jaber confirmed that the flu is seasonal and the number of cases registered in the Kingdom is normal.

He also said that all health personnel was vaccinated in order not to be infected with the flu.

The price of the Swine Flu vaccine has been reduced to JD5.5 instead of JD11, the minister added.
