Prime Minister, Omar Razzaz has announced Wednesday, December 25, as an official holiday for all ministries and governmental institutions, as it marks Christmas day.

Razzaz also announced Wednesday, January 1, 2020, an official holiday as it marks the beginning of the New Year.

Thursday, December 26, 2019, was also announced as a day off for Christians.

The announcement excluded public bodies whose nature of work requires otherwise.
