Health Ministry: H1N1 cases in Jordan rise to 62

Assistant Secretary General of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Adnan Ishaq revealed that the number of H1N1 Swine Flu cases in Jordan has risen to 62.

During a special interview on Roya's "Nabd Al Balad" program, Ishaq confirmed that all of the people who were infected with the flu have left hospital, except for eight of them, who are still receiving treatment.

During the interview, Ishaq pointed out that the first H1N1 case in Jordan was registered at the end of October.

He stressed that there are cases of H1N1 every year, adding that 38 infected people died three years ago.

He noted that Jordan is the only country that makes official announcements of the number of H1N1 infected people.
