Israeli settler, who illegally crossed into Jordan in October, admits being guilty

During a public hearing held today, the Israeli settler Konstantin Kotov, who illegally crossed into Jordan in late October has admitted to illegally entering the Kingdom and possessing drugs with the intent of using them.

The defendant said that the hashish cigarette seized with him is allowed in Tel Aviv.

The SSC allowed local and foreign media to cover the hearing.

However, the hearing will be pursued tomorrow.

The trial was held under the chairmanship of the military judge Colonel Dr. Ali Mubaideen, with the membership of Civil Judge Dr. Nasser Al-Salamat and the military judge Safwan Al Zu'bi and with the attendance of the public prosecutor of the State Security Court (SSC), Bashar Al Zyoud.
