Prayers for rain "istisqaa prayer" will be held across the Kingdom on Friday, November 29, 2019, following calls made by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.

The Awqaf Minister Mohammad Khalaileh notified heads of Awqaf directorates in Jordan to organize the Istisqaa prayer at the mosques that host Friday prayers.

The istisqaa prayer is a Sunnah prayer held in times of drought, asking Allah for rain.
