Members of the Preventive Security Department managed to arrest two people who fired random festive shots in Madaba governorate on Monday, November 18, 2019.

Spokesman for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that a video circulated on social media platforms showing the two people firing random shots during an occasion in Madaba governorate.

An investigation was immediately launched to identify the shooters and arrest them.

The spokesman added that following the investigation and the gathering of information, the shooters were identified and the two firearms that were in their possession were seized.

The shooters were referred to the competent judicial authority for legal action.
