The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has expressed its regret over Jordan's decision not to renew or extend Al-Baqoura and Al-Ghamr annexation from the peace agreement after His Majesty King Abdullah II decided to end their annexation from the peace agreement on October 21, 2018.

The Foreign Ministry issued a statement, which indicated that Jordan will continue to respect the private property rights of Israelis in Al-Baqoura, pursuant to the Peace Treaty signed in 1994.

Regarding Al-Ghamr land, the statement revealed that Jordan will allow farmers to harvest what they planted before the end of the annexation.
