Lebanese Minister of Interior, Raya El Hassan said on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, that Jordan is ready to help in extinguishing the fierce fires in Lebanese.

In a tweet on her Twitter official account, El Hassan said, "We have contacted several countries that could help us put out the fires and the Cypriot planes have been working to extinguish the fires since yesterday. We have activated a rapid response mechanism. Greece has also answered our call and will send two planes to help. Jordan has also expressed its readiness to send us assistance."

However, Israeli Defense Forces' spokesman Avichay Adraee said in a post on his Facebook official account, "Photos of the fires in Lebanon are so harmful. This is a humanitarian role. Let's put the political issues aside. Difference can not abolish the human sense."
