Israeli police have invaded Bab al-Rahma "Gate of Mercy" prayer area, in the Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound in occupied East Jerusalem and seized wooden partitions on Thursday morning, October 10, 2019.

Officers attacked many Palestinians, arrested five and threatened to abduct and imprison others if they do not leave the holy site, according to eyewitnesses.

Israeli police officers have also chased and attempted to abduct people who were using their smartphones to film the invasions.

Two Jewish organization namely, the Harel Youth Movement, a newly formed organization based on a group of ultra-settlers, and the Return to the Temple Mount, headed by Rafael Morris, who tried to introduce offerings to slaughter them at the al-Aqsa Mosque in April 2016 had earlier called for a massive storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Thursday throughout the day, in conjunction with the Jewish "Yom Kippur".
