Jordan has called on Turkey to immediately halt its attack on Syria and resolve all issues through dialogue and within the framework of international legitimacy.

"We urge Turkey to stop attack on Syria & solve all issues through dialogue, within Int’l law," Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ayman Safadi tweeted on Wednesday, October 9, 2019.

The tweet added, "We condemn all actions that infringe on Syria’s sovereignty. Political solution that preserves unity of Syria, ensures rights of Syrians & defeats terrorism guarantees security of all."
