A teacher at Tariq bin Ziyad school in Zarqa was seen giving lessons to a single student this morning, at the time when almost all teachers at the Kingdom's public schools are on a strike.

Teacher Abdullah Farhat told Roya that the strike has lasted for so long and has negatively affected students since they are not given lessons.

Farhat pointed out that he is ready to give lessons to any student who comes to school, noting that several of them have left this morning as they were not given lessons since the early hours of the day.

"With all respect to all teachers and the Jordanian Teachers Syndicate, I will be giving lessons even if a single student attends the class. I act according to the dictates of my conscience," Farhat confirmed.
