Killer of stepmother in Central Badia charged with murder, attempted murder

The public prosecutor of the Grand Criminal Court has charged the man who had killed his stepmother in Central Badia earlier on Friday, September 27, 2019, with murder and attempted murder.

A statement issued by the Court indicated that as she was asleep, the murderer entered his family home and stabbed his mother, leaving her with injuries, He then got into his stepmother and father's room, killing the former and causing injuries to the latter.

The prosecutor decided to detain the killer for 15 days at a correctional and rehabilitation center.

The statement added that the killer had fled the scene immediately, but he was arrested only 24 hours after he committed the crime.

The murderer, who is in his thirties, was interrogated and admitted that he had committed the murder following disputes that arose between him and his father.

He added that his father used to kick him out of home, adding that he had disputes with his mother as well.
