A Jordanian student has been stabbed in Ukraine on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, Head of the Operations Centre at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Sufian Qudah said in a statement.

Qudah added that the Jordanian Embassy in Moscow and the Operations Centre are following up on the incident and that the Ukrainian authorities were contacted for more details on the incident.

Both the Operations Centre and the Jordanian embassy in Moscow have been providing the necessary assistance and consulate services, Qudah noted, adding that measures have been taken to ensure that the Jordanian receives the required medical attention.

Qudah wished the injured a speedy recovery.
