At least one Palestinian was injured by rubber-coated rounds today and others suffocated from teargas inhalation, as Israeli occupation forces attacked dozens of protesters taking part in a rally in condemnation of Israel’s land confiscation policy in the village of Kafr Malik, northeast of Ramallah, local sources said.

The protesters performed Friday prayer in an open area near the village before beginning a nonviolent march to protest against Israel's policy of land confiscation. Shortly afterwards, they were attacked by Israeli forces who attempted to quell them by firing teargas and rubber-coated rounds at them.

The Israeli forces also attacked journalists and medics who were present at the scene and forced them to leave, the sources added.
