The Vice President of the Jordanian Teachers Syndicate, Nasser Nawasrah has met with the speaker of the House of Representatives and Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, Atef Tarawneh on Monday, September 9, 2019.

The meeting, which was held to negotiate and make discussions regarding the teachers' demands, ended with no solutions, media spokesperson for the Syndicate, Nour Al-Deen Nadeem said.

During the meeting, Tarawneh said that the strike that teachers began yesterday, September 8, 2019, should not negatively affect students and the educational process.

He confirmed that he is sure that every teacher must be aware of this and will make the national and students' interests a priority.

Tarawneh also said that the language of dialogue is a basic for reaching a solution and that it has no alternative in any circumstances.
