Peace has prevailed in Karak after intermittent protests took place against the government's decision to transfer all public transport buses in Karak to the new Karak Bus Terminal.

The protests, which have been taking place for almost a week, included road closures with stones and burning containers.

Some shop gates and four tourist vehicles were also destroyed during the recent protests that occurred on Tuesday, September 3, 2019.
