People have blocked the main road in Karak on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, with stones and burning tires, in protest against the government's decision to transfer all public transport buses in Karak to the new Karak Bus Terminal.

MP Saddah Habashneh intervened to persuade the protesters to stop closing down the road.

Habashneh stressed that "the right can be taken by logic and dialogue not through destroying public property and blocking roads."

He pointed out that "public property is a right for all and no one will be allowed to destroy it."

The governor of Karak, Jamal Al-Fayez has confirmed that the new terminal will come into service within the next few days.
