The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates was following up on the death of a five-year-old Jordanian child in the northern Turkish city of Trabzon, Director of the Operations Center at the Ministry, Sufian Qudah said on Thursday, August 29, 2019.

Qudah added that in cooperation with the relevant Turkish authorities, the Jordanian Embassy in Ankara and the Operations Center were following up on the death of the child, who died of natural causes as initial reports indicated during a family trip.

The Ministry has taken the necessary measures to transport the deceased's body to the Kingdom, upon his family’s request.

Qudah expressed his deepest sympathies and condolences to the child's family.
