A man was shot dead by another on Monday evening, August 26, 2019, in Irbid governorate, north of Jordan, spokesman for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said.

An investigation was immediately launched, after which members of the PSD managed to identify the shooter and arrest him, along with others who were with him when the incident took place.

The investigation is still underway, the spokesman added.
