The family of the man who shot his cousin to death three days ago in Irbid and the victim's cousin have reached a tribal truce agreement, known as an "Atwa."

During the Atwa held in Irbid on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, the killer's father presented his eldest son's life as a ransom to the victim's father and said, "Here's my son. Do to him whatever you want."

The killer's father also said that he had disowned his son.

However, the victim's family agreed to forgive the killer's family, but not the killer, who is detained by the security services after he confessed to the crime.
