The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Wednesday, July 31, 2019, that a four-day exercise named "Four Seasons" has been completed, which was designed in preparation for the Israeli occupation's next clash with Gaza Strip, Palestinian media outlets reported.

At the conclusion of the exercise, IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi said, "the preparedness was of a very, very high level."

"We have strengthened our preparedness for a possible campaign in Gaza...which could break out any day," the IDF tweeted.

The tweet added, "We just completed a large-scale exercise to improve our readiness for combating any threat posed by Hamas & Islamic Jihad in Gaza."

The occupation is preparing for the largest military operation since the 2014 war in Gaza, Haaretz stated.

Haaretz explained that this new fighting system focuses on resolving the war within a short period of time, as the IDF prepared for a short round of fighting characterized by violence.

To achieve this goal, the Israeli army was equipped with special weapons, including weapons that can be specially used inside tunnels.

The IDF are also planning to fire gunshots that would destroy the civilian infrastructure in the Strip.
