A minor fire has erupted in the outpatient clinic of the Madaba Health Directorate on Wednesday morning, July 31, 2019.

Head of the Directorate, Khalil Rawahneh said that a small fire broke out in one of the waiting rooms in the second floor of the clinic and caused physical damage to the building.

Rawahneh added that the patients were transferred to Nadeem Public Hospital until maintenance work is done to the clinic and until the cause of the fire is identified.

He confirmed that the fire caused only material damage, without any human injuries being reported.
