A 4-year-old girl was rushed to hospital last night after she had been struck by a stray bullet while she was at her family's house backyard in Burma Village in the northern governorate of Jerash, the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) said in a statement on Saturday, July 26, 2019.

The CDD said that an investigation was launched to identify the source of the bullet, adding that the overall condition of the girl is moderate.
