Foreign Ministry follows up on death of Jordanian tourist in Indonesia

In coordination with the concerned Indonesian authorities, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates started following up on the death of a Jordanian tourist, who died after drowning while he was on his honeymoon with his wife in Bali, Indonesia, the Ministry's Director of Operations, Sufian Qudah said.

Qudah added that the Foreign Minister, Ayman Safadi asked the Jordanian Embassy's consul to travel from Jakarta to Bali to find out the details of the incident and to follow up on the investigations with the Indonesian authorities.

Upon the request of the deceased's family, the Ministry has begun taking measures to return the body to the Kingdom.

Qudah also expressed his deepest sympathies to the family of the deceased.
