Police found on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, a dead body lying near the main street west of Yarout town, north of Karak.

Spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD), Amer Sartawi said the Karak Police Department received a report on a dead body of a person of an Arab nationality near the area of Wadi bin Hammad, where it was transferred to the forensics to determine the cause of death.

Security forces transferred the body to the Karak Public Hospital.

A Trilateral Commission for Forensic Medicine at the Karak Public Hospital said there no criminality is suspected, as there were no signs of bruises or injuries. It attributed the main cause of death to a pulmonary embolism and hyperthyroidism.
